HomeEducationOrlando Girombelli School of Arts and Crafts

The Orlando Girombelli School of Arts and Crafts is a project born from the idea of the tailor Luca Paolorossi. A concentrate of innovation and sustainability. FIMA has embraced the stylist’s vision: an avant-garde space in architectural solutions, in shapes and materials, harmoniously immersed in nature, capable of making a new method of teaching flourish and generating creativity, thinking of a continuous dialogue between the buildings and the surrounding environment, the countryside and the hills of the Marche Region.

The three volumes that will house the classrooms, the laboratories, the conference rooms, and the recreational areas will be laid down on the slope of Fonte Bona and will naturally slope down from the hills. The concept is to allow studying and working with natural light. The three volumes will then be connected by stairs and ramps that will allow access to different spaces thus eliminating the differences in level and creating a fluid, airy and full of light environment. Only new generation, sustainable and natural materials will be used to ensure maximum energy efficiency. The school will also have zero CO2 emissions.
