FIMA Principal partner, after classic studies, Maurizio Andreoli graduated in Architecture at I.U.A.V Istituto Universitario di Architettura in Venice (university architecture institute) with a thesis on the the Roman Abusive Outskirts and on high-density residential buildings, the latter topic still studied by him. During his degree, he participated in architecture and design contests both in Italy and abroad. After graduation, he worked in Vienna at the Jadricarchitects studio where he analyzed cases related to the design of building with low energetic consumption and participated in international design contests. Since 2005 he has been a permanent member of the FIMA project team as principal partner, founding together with Filiberto Andreoli the “MULTIDISCIPLINARY OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE”: a study that includes architecture, engineering, design, systems, economics and consulting. Expert in three-dimensional modelling programs, rendering, video editing and audio, he is interested in photography, music and contemporary city studies with particular attention in the reuse, restoration and redevelopment of disused industrial spaces. Regarding this last subject, he gave lectures in Italy, at the University of Architecture in Belgrade and in Sarajevo; he has lectured in China in particular at the Hunan Normal University Academy of fine arts in Changsha (China) where he was invited to show his work. He became a competent acoustical technician, a certification authority for the ITACA MARCHE Protocol and an expert consultant at CASAKLIMA / KLIMAHAUS (Bolzano). He studied the problems concerning the design of buildings with high energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. From 2020 is certified BIM MANAGER. He is currently personally involved in all FIMA projects abroad, particularly in China, Iraq, Iran and Libya.
